My Runway

Where your data is kept

Your plan and account are stored in Australia. My Runway asks for figures, not identity: no tax file number, no bank account numbers, no employer, and only the year you were born.

Some services that help us run My Runway work outside Australia such as: Stripe for billing, the AI provider that reads what you type into Ask Runway (with the names of what your plan holds), our error reports, our email provider, and Google Analytics, which counts visits to this website (not the app). The privacy policy names each one.

A public link, if you make one, lets anyone who has it see a read-only copy of the plan, including its names and figures. Search engines are asked not to list it, and the preview a link shows in a message never includes the plan’s name or figures. Turn it off in Settings, under Sharing.

A message from Help in the app reaches us with the page you were on, and a picture of it only if you turn on Include a screenshot of this page; that picture shows your figures. You get a copy of what you sent.
